El Aleph is a twin masted Indonesian Phinisi Yacht, designed in the most rigorous detail to ensure a sound vessel which incorporates traditional craftsmanship with modern marine technologies.
El Aleph’s elegant finishes are the result of over 200,000 man-hours of labour, by Bali’s most prestigious cabinet-makers. Her lavish living areas and cabins are unsurpassed anywhere else in Indonesia and from the moment you step on board it’s hard not to be impressed by ambiance of luxury which greets you.
Phinisi yachts are renowned for their stability and navigability in the water and El Aleph is no exception. Built by the Konjo Boat builders of Tana Beru Village, who have been hand building phinisi vessels for centuries, El Aleph’s custom-designed steel masts and gaffs provide for safe and efficient sailing with a cruising speed of 8 knots. Every inch of El Aleph’s 40 meter length has been carefully considered to give the ultimate crusing experience.
We understand that having space to relax is of the utmost importance so El Aleph’s layout has been arranged to maximise open areas while maintaining large cabins. Her 32 sq. meter luxury master ensuite features a dressing room and private terrace alongside 4 additional 18 sq. meter guest cabins. A 10 sq. meter nanny cabin has been thoughtfully included for those who are travelling with children or staff.
Other on-board highlights include indoor lounge areas, an open deck with al fresco dining area beneath El Aleph’s impressive 8 meter beam, promenade deck, sun deck, forward sun deck and a large lounge on the bowsprit.
Staying in contact with family, friends and business partners can be taken care of via El Aleph’s high speed, broad-band satellite internet – just because you are going off the grid it doesn’t mean that your communication devices need to too. El Aleph also features a satellite phone, SSB, VHF, WiFi, GPRS signal amplifiers for safety and to ensure you’ll always be able to stay in touch.
Navigational technologies on board include Radar Furuno navigation with GPS, Colour Sounders, GPS, Compass RayMarine, AIS, C-map ChartNav. and a Back-up GPS plotter: Simrad).
As with any cruising expedition, safety is of paramount importance to us and you’ll find that El Aleph carries 2 life rafts (with a capacity of 20 people each), 100 adult and 20 infant life jackets, flares and positioning systems – these are in addition to her 2 rigid inflatable tenders (5,5m and 3m). Indonesia is famous for its world class dive sites and marine life, so for divers, El Aleph has complete sets of diving equipment available, two on-board compressors, aluminum dive tanks, nitrox, Poseidon rebreathers and helium mixing facilities.
