It’s okey. No crowded, you can see the lake from close and the mount batur. Personally the view from above it’s better. There is no entrance fee but they ask for a donation at the exit.

The most majestic view i've ever seen, with room viewing over the great Mt. Batur. Very cozy and windy, which can get low as 20°C! A must place to vist with many great outdoor activity to try

We came here on a scooter from Sideman! Insane, i know- but the ride was worth it! The thrill of riding thru winding roads and the weather changes as you travel was crazy. We experienced sun, rain, fog, cold - on this drive... it was quite the experience! If you can handle a long bike ride, i would recommend it. But come prepared with sweater/hoodie/rain gear. It was quite an adventure ride with beautiful scenic views!
