It’s beautiful here but transport is mostly “overcharged” for tourists and also some people commit illegal levies which is annoying. If you want to rent a bike or car here, it’s just too difficult at this moment which is shameful in 2024 for Bali. The local govt needs to fix this otherwise tourists won’t come again. Restaurants are everywhere but mostly at 20.00 hours, they’ll close. Grabcars and -bikes are mostly available but, some of them told me that I needed to pay more than what is given on the app, because they believed “Grab company gives bad charge for them”. On the lake, there are some hotsprings but it’s also too expensive for what it is. Like for international tourists, you need to pay 330K idr and locals pay about 110K. Not worth the money. Totally a scam.
