I guess you have to go there in rainy season because the temple area must be fluted otherwise you can see the trash on the floor and the figures which surround the temple won't look like as the stay on the water. The area itself is quit dirty. Would not recommend to go.

The place totally different from what I saw in Google and Google maps. Has this is summer over here and all the water has gone back. So the temple is not in-between water and there’s some construction work going on. We were forced to pay 50000IDR has a donation to temple for which I has no interest to pay. But the people over there started to scream and scold, has I was with my parents, I decided to pay. Not a worthy place to visit in summer.

You need a sarong to get in where is some places it is free here you are requested 25k each. The temple has really that iconic tower and nothing else. An extra 2000 for parking will be requested to you. This region in the caldera is a lot more oriented towards get money out of you
