Amazing to be able to see so many turtles up-close and without the inconvenience of hundreds of other peoples legs in the way, as is the case with the snorkelling tours here. You are far better off with renting snorkel gear somewhere along the main strip (50k), than spending 200k for an uncomfortable and over packed boat tour. If you swim out past the boats, there is such an array of fish and coral to be seen, along with an interesting and sudden drop of the sand bank. There are turtles absolutely everywhere, which do not seem to mind being watched for a while by tourists. You are even able to rent a GoPro at some of the stalls, if you do not have one of your own. We went twice and saw around 10 turtles- an absolute must-do on your trip here.

Nice spot, you can definitely see turtles here! but turtle point is better (more corals, prettier) but more busy. I swam here because we were staying in the GB suites hotel. Loved it!

We brought our own snorkel gear with us, saw turtles pretty much straight away! But please don’t touch the turtles, don’t get too close to the turtles. Take your rubbish off the beach and keep this place beautiful for years to come!! (-1 ⭐️ for the rubbish floating in the water - obvs not the turtles fault😂)

If you wanna get in contact with turtles in really close range, this is the place to go to. I saw at least 5 turtles.

Didn’t see turtles in the afternoon. Saw some fish and hordes of tourists who don’t know how to swim walking all over the tiny amount of seagrass that is left. If you can’t swim, don’t go snorkelling.
