The Edge of the Estuary Marina

This place is within a housing complex! Beach name is pantai marina ... Not a good place for sunbathing but ok to look far out to the sea and watch the sunset. There's lots of hawkers with the classic tahu gimbal that semarang is famous for ... In gerobak and they have tarpaulin spread on the ground ... Not very comfortable but ok to sit on albeit just to keep out of the sands. Sands not white but a clay sand color. There's a dilapidated marina with a few boats tied. If you keep going around to the river estuary there is a spot where they say is a peace monument ... A stone that Japanese soldiers in world war 2 used to visit to pray at the point where it points towards Japan I guess. Gotta climb up on a pedestal to see over the high wall to view it on the opposite side if the river bank. Hmmmppttsss ... They should make this spot more tourist friendly. All in all this place as it is perhaps is worth a sunset so long as you are close by ... Somewhere you stop by if you are on the way to a place close by.
