Pantai Dewaruci Jatimalang is a wide and interesting beach. I can walk along the seashore and enjoy the fresh air and smooth wind. It's a healthy activity to take a walk along the beach at 8:00 AM or 4:00 PM.

Pantai Dewaruci Jatimalang is a new beach spot near (about 15 minutes from) Yogyakarta International Airport. It has many small restaurants, called "Warung" locally, that serve various seafood menus with perfect, fresh quality and very cheap prices. Today, I ate at "Lintang Samudra" resto. This resto serves live lobster on their menu, and of course, at a very, very cheap price (Rp. 350k for 1 kg / 10 - 12 pcs of sea lobster). I really like their "Sweet & Sour" sauce...it's very delicious...recommended to try

Pantai Dewaruci Jatimalang has awesome seafood! Don't go there too late. Around 5 PM is good for dinner. Go for a morning walk around 5 AM to see the sunrise and early risers of fishermen starting their day. Big waves. Do not swim.

Jatimalang/Dewa Ruci Beach,one of the iconic Purworejo's Beach, actually the side line of Hindia Belanda Ocean.large parking,public restroom,and caused of danger wave,it's not allowed to swim here but there are swimming pools here.yiu can rent ATV for sight around the beach.seafiid culinary. Right on right side the beach there are Masjid Tiban,ex Pangeran Diponegoro praying place
