Taman Ujung
REVIEWS
Located in East Bali, specifically in Karangasem Regency. I highly recommend to visit this place. This place was built more than a hundred years ago but still gorgeous until now. The architecture is mixed between Balinese and European and I love it! The view was nice even you can see the sunset if it's not cloudy.

This gorgeous water palace did not disappoint. From the moment you enter this magnificent space, you are surrounded by beautiful gardens and water. As you walk around, you are able to leave the crowds behind and begin to imagine what it may have been like to be here so many years ago. We loved everything about this space!

This is a lovely and expansive water palace that offers great views of both the Palace and the sea behind it once you climb to the top of the tallest set of steps. The interior grounds of this Palace are also well-kept and attractive, and on a cloudy day it's a very pleasant walk. We went in late Jan 2025, which is low season - this might explain our enjoyable experience (ie, no crowds and cooler weather). Am deducting one star because the photographs and posters inside some of the main Palace buildings could do with clearer and better-quality write-ups, and the bathrooms ought to be cleaner and better-maintained if this place aims to be a key tourist attraction. That being said, the plentiful dustbins around the place are a good start in that direction.

Taman Ujung, Karangasem is one of the favorite places with a large, quiet garden, quite a lot of large trees that make the air cool. The building in the middle of the lake makes it even more exotic. Very beautiful and quiet.
