Pura Melanting
REVIEWS
Visiting Pura Melanting was an experience filled with peace and deep cultural charm. Tucked away in the lush greenery near Pemuteran, this temple isn’t as crowded as some of Bali’s more famous spots, which makes it feel even more special. The temple is dedicated to the goddess of trade and prosperity, and you can truly feel the positive energy here. Walking through the beautifully decorated gates, surrounded by intricate carvings and serene courtyards, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of calm. The vibrant offerings, the soft sound of the breeze through the trees, and the distant chants created a mesmerizing atmosphere. One of the best parts of visiting Pura Melanting was the journey itself—driving through quiet roads surrounded by nature before arriving at this hidden sanctuary. Whether you’re looking for a spiritual experience or just a peaceful retreat away from the crowds, this temple is definitely worth a visit. If you’re in the Pemuteran area, take the time to stop by Pura Melanting. It’s a place that stays with you long after you leave.

It is a lovely temple. It has a wide parking area, and some small warungs that sells meat ball, ice and even rain coats! The scenery is amazing. The temple is painted colourfully and looks so beautiful. I think this is the first temple, that I know of that is painted with such colourful paint.

Underrated temple, go there ! We went there and just had to give a donation to get in, no fixed price. It was by far my favourite temple in Bali. No fake picture spots for insta girls, no tourists, only locals taking care of the place. Very authentic but still big and beautiful. Some monkeys and dogs are walking around but they are absolutely not aggressive, it's rather nice. I recommend going there for sunset, the colors are beautiful!

Beautiful place The entrance is based on donations so bring cash. You will be provided something to cover your legs with. Very tranquil, we were the only ones there except maybe 4 of the worshipers. It was so quiet you didn't want to speak and everything was very nice to admire. The entire place is larger than it first looked as well, so explore left and right from the entrance - just bear in mind you can't go past certain points.
