Update on 9 Feb 25: I went back for second time as I read previous reviews there's a small pool that you can soak in. I can confirm that access to the pool has collapsed into the waves so the pools are no longer accessible. See my photo. Most hair raising experience of nusa Penida! The entrance gate was locked when I went but I asked the nearby shop lady and she said I could just climb in and don't need sarong. It's a straight descent to the waves. You have to climb down stairs perched on the side of the cliff and there are gaps between the stairs so you can see and hear the roaring waves below you. Not for the faint hearted! But you will b rewarded with breathtaking scenary and cool clean water to cool yourself down. Totally awesome!

Today’s visit to the waterfall was incredible! The trek was a bit challenging but absolutely worth it. The views were breathtaking, and the serene atmosphere made it feel like a hidden paradise. The natural pools were a perfect spot to cool off and enjoy the surroundings. Definitely a must-visit for anyone looking for a less crowded, peaceful escape!

Beautiful views, accompanied with exhausting hike. It is about 150m of altitude down to the water temple with some pretty sketchy steps. You really gotta love heights to feel comfortable all the way. It takes about 20-30mins each way. Would not recommend going up after sundown since you need your eyesight to hit the steps & cannot spare a hand for grip.

The blue stairs. The place is really cool but the hike down and up is insane. I had read some of the reviews and it doesn’t do it justice. I made it almost all of the way but stopped when it was flat and just boards to get a little ways down to the waterfall. Very pretty and amazing views but it is not for anyone who is scared of heights or anyone who has difficulty going up and down very steep steps. It is nice you only have to pay for parking, 5k.

3 natural pools with many great spots for taking pictures. However, involve a lot of stairs. Since a temple a there near the waterfall, you need a sarong
