The beach is suitable for a sunset spot, but it has not been managed well. There is no ticketing yet, no Pokdarwis yet. So you can camp freely here.

Rawa Biru Beach is a beach located on the southern side of Banyuwangi district, precisely in Buluagung village, Siliragung subdistrict. A glance at this beach is that it has a soft, black sand structure with a backdrop of unspoiled green land. On the east side of this beach there is a mountain that juts out into the sea and local people often call it Mount Dogong. The strategic position of the beach also adds to the beauty of the panorama at sunset, so that tourists can enjoy it more freely. Because it is still natural, road access that can be traversed to reach the beach is on foot or using a two-wheeled bicycle. Tourists will be charged a relatively cheap fee, namely around 5000/person before entering the Blue Swamp beach area, to be precise before crossing the suspension bridge. For lovers of unspoiled nature, this place is highly recommended.

Nestled on the southern side of the district, this pristine beach offers a unique charm with its soft black sand and unspoiled natural surroundings. The beach is part of the larger Blue Swamp area and features a striking backdrop of green hills and a protruding mountain known locally as Mount Dogong.

One of the standout features of Pantai Rawa Biru is its picturesque location, which provides an ideal setting for enjoying the beauty of nature. Visitors can experience the serene environment while taking in the stunning views of the ocean and the surrounding landscape. The beach is particularly popular among travelers seeking a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

  • Accesibility: Access to Pantai Rawa Biru is primarily via foot or bicycle, as it remains largely undeveloped. This adds to its natural and untouched appeal, making it a favored spot for adventure seekers and nature enthusiasts.
  • Entry Fee: A modest entry fee of around IDR 5,000 per person is charged before accessing the beach area, which contributes to maintaining the site's sustainability and development.
  • Sunset Views: The beach is renowned for its breathtaking sunset views, drawing visitors who wish to witness the stunning colors of the setting sun over the ocean horizon.

While still in a natural state, Pantai Rawa Biru has received positive feedback from visitors. Many appreciate its unspoiled beauty and the freedom it offers to explore and relax without feeling crowded. However, some have suggested that better management and infrastructure could enhance the visitor experience, such as implementing proper ticketing systems and establishing local community-based tourism groups (Pokdarwis). These improvements would help preserve the beach's natural charm while providing a more organized and enjoyable visit for tourists.
