Nice and quiet beach. Most vendors were closed, bummer (rain, you know), but still a great spot for drinks and the sunset. The beach has a minor rubbish issue, but if you can overlook that, it's a cheap place to hang out in the afternoon.

This place makes me sad. One environmental disaster after another and it's obviously the local culture as there is no tourists around.

The beach is only accessible by driving past a large Chinese cemetery and then into a kampung (village) who look like they don't expect nor entertain foreign visitors. The roads are extremely narrow, barely enough for a car, so take a scooter if you must be here. At some point, the road runs out and you're left driving on a mud path. The local driver advised that we leave the area and try another beach instead. We also had a hard time backing out due to the narrow roads and were in danger of running down a child, goat, or junglefowl. Because of this, I never set foot on the beach, which could be fantastic!
