The beach is relatively clean. You can order food upstairs and it will be delivered down to the beach. You can spend the sunset and sunrise here beautifully. However, like everywhere else, you should be careful. Sometimes the waves are really strong.

The place is not clean and well maintained. But the good thing is that there are lots of snacks here, so you can hang out while watching the sunset. The snacks are also cheap.

Ampenan Beach is located in the Old Town area of Ampenan (a former old port which has now moved to Selamat) not far from the center of Mataram city, very suitable for taking fun photos/selfies with the background icon "Ampenan Beach" interspersed with the crashing waves of the blue sea & beach. sandy, especially before 'sun set'... Wow, it's really spectacular!! There is 'Ampenan Tourism Culinary' next to the beach, there is a 'one heart' platform for one of the famous motorbike brands (Honda) and a miniature sailing ship in front of it. Unfortunately, many food stalls are piled up and cover the icon of Ampenan Beach, making it look dirty and obstructing photo opportunities.
