Karang Beach

One of the great sunrise beaches in Bali. The water is calm, and you will be rewarded with tranquility and gorgeous golden sunrise in good weather. Car parking on an empty field, can no longer park on the pavement field next to the path. Although I took hundreds of photos for hundreds of sunrises, they are never the same. Sometimes when the tide is low you can explore walking around among the sea grass and find sea critters. There are many warungs around but to be honest they barely sell anything but light food and drinks, at least not early in the morning as far as I know. This is not a surfing beach but suitable for SUP (stand up paddle), kayaking, windsurfing (during certain time of the day), swimming, playing with dogs, soaking or just sit there in the sand contemplating your life choices. I believe there are free yoga classes every morning.

Beautiful secluded bay. If you are staying at the Sanur Resort, this is the closest beach access, and where you can use sunbeds as part of your stay. You have to walk a bit from the main road, but there are some amazing coffee shops and warungs if you get thirsty 😉 Tide needs to be considered as sometimes you can literally walk to the little man made island with the kiosks and swing, otherwise it was always max like 1m deep Sometimes, they clean the beach, business owners do their best too, however when locals are around, you will sadly see a lot of rubish in the beach and ocean 🥲 Nice to see the sunrise if you are lucky enough to have no cloud coverage

Nice beach. The cleanest white sand is towards the middle. Down the south end is still clear and lots of seaweed. But towards the north of the coast there is a lot of rubbish on the beach.

A beautiful sunrise beach located in the Sanur area. It has a spacious parking lot next to the beach, bike rentals and street food vendors. If you enjoy tranquil sunrises, you must visit this beach.
