Kuta Beach is beautiful! I recommend going at sunset – it's absolutely stunning, and the atmosphere is wonderful. There's a mall right behind the beach where you can go after sunset, or even watch the sunset from their deck.

This beach was incredibly dirty, full of plastic and trash. Locals constantly try to sell you surf lessons or drinks, and swimming is only allowed for surfing. It's a shame it's so dirty. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're in the area and want to surf or just enjoy the sea view with a drink.

The beach itself isn't anything special – it's crowded with tourists and local shops, and locals are always trying to sell you things, which can be annoying. BUT... the views are incredible! It's one of the best places to watch the sunset. Even after the sun goes down, the sky is filled with amazing shades of pink, purple, and orange! Our kids took surf lessons here, and you can also rent bodyboards. There are lots of cafes and restaurants nearby, but be aware that the road along Kuta Beach is one-way, and it can take a long time to get out of the area, especially on weekends.

The beach itself is nothing special, it's pretty crowded with tourists and local shops, also enough locals walk around to offer you things to buy which is sometimes a bit annoying, but.... The views here - OMG!!!! One of the best places to observe sunsets. Even when the sun is gone, the skies turn a million different shades of pink, purple and orange, absolutely fantastic! Our kids had several surf lessons, you can also rent a body board if surfing is no option. There are lots of cafes and restaurants nearby but keep in mind that the road along Kuta beach is one way traffic and to exit that area it can take ages, especially on a weekend

As far as a beach goes it ain't great. Loads of drift wood bamboo from construction as well as rubbish. Saw a black bag of waste bobbing about in the waves. I've been told this is because of tides certain times of the month, and then it all gets cleaned up. Very touristy area. Some nice beach hut bars along the top of the beach with really friendly locals, good sunset too.

Kuta Beach is a classic Bali experience. It's definitely a busy beach, but the sunsets are worth it. I enjoyed walking along the beach and watching the surfers.

Kuta Beach is okay. It's a convenient location with lots of shops and restaurants, but it's not the cleanest beach, and it can be overwhelming with all the vendors.
