A beautiful white sand beach with amazingly blue waters. The sea floor closer to the water line isn't even, with coarse sand and really big pieces of coral rock. The first few metres in the water is tricky as there's hard coral and huge dead coral rocks which can really hurt and scrape you, if you lose your balance or brush against it.

I have some of my best memories in this little corner of paradise. I enjoyed the people working there, the soft sand, the corals on the beach, the wind and the beautiful sea!

The many pieces of dead corals on the Gili Meno beaches are a horrifying sight. Indeed the corals near the beach are in dire need of better conditions, but they can still be experienced snorkeling from the beach. Beware of the strong currents around the island, though! The beaches are peaceful and quiet, and they feature many restaurants to enjoy perfectly grilled fresh fish.
