Gembleng Waterfall
REVIEWS
One of the best waterfalls to swim in while enjoying stunning views. Entry is by donation, and it’s just a few steps to the top. It can get busy, but most people just take photos and leave. I highly recommend visiting at sunset for a more peaceful experience. The restaurant above serves amazing food at good prices, with excellent service and breathtaking jungle views.

A stunning hidden gem! The waterfall is absolutely breathtaking, with crystal-clear pools perfect for a refreshing dip. The staff were incredibly polite and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. The best part? Entrance is only a 50k Rupiah, and that is a donation, which feels like a steal for such a magical place. Highly recommend visiting if you're looking for a serene and memorable spot!

One of the best waterfall in Bali, so beautiful with natural pool. Need donation to entry but for management you should give an officially tickets, about 10 K for local and 25 K for foreigner. Way to waterfall already good with nice stairs, maybe need 5-7 minutes to reach the top of natural pool which is the best photo spot. That last time, we luckily not so many people queue to take photo. We thankful for the boy who help us to take a photo, so he is a guide who knows the angle and situation of pool. I think the guide existing is very important because the pool and stone are slippery. So on the top there is a restaurant that surprisingly with good food and good price. The staff are kindly too.

One of our favorite waterfalls of our waterfall day tour. It’s in the middle of the jungle which added a beautiful landscape many of the other popular waterfalls don’t have. There are many natural little pools to swim and take pictures in as well. We went mid day on a Friday and it actually still wasn’t too busy since it is a bit further away from Ubud than others. However we still did need to wait behind 2 other couples to take pictures in the main pool, so if you want it with even less people I’d recommend going early. They required a donation but not any fixed amount. Seemed like most people gave 50000 which is pretty standard for most waterfall entry tickets. If you’re able to make the drive or are in the area I’d highly recommend!

This waterfall is amazing. The way in leads through a little farming village that is very pretty. The waterfall is fed by a spring, the waterfall has several terraces with pools at the bottom. I visited in the afternoon and it was quiet with only a few people there. It was pretty clear that the place has become an Instagram hotspot, so be prepared to wait around for the photoshoots to finish if you want to have a dip in the pool above the main waterfall. The water is a nice temperature, refreshing but not as cold as I would habe expected. Entry is by donation and definitely worth the price of admission. The stairs leading up to the waterfall are pretty steep and high in places and can get slippery with rain. In saying that there's a hand rail all the way up, and if you are hungry or thirsty, there's a little restaurant at the top. It's worth going up there as there is a viewing platform with sweeping views of the valley and surrounding hills.
