Scuba Diving & Snorkeling in Bali
There is excellent and incredibly diverse, scuba diving and snorkeling to be found all around Bali. The East Coast is home to the USAT Liberty shipwreck which is visible to snorkelers and divers. The East Coast also offers some incredible muck and critter diving. The rocky islets of Gili Tepekong and Mimpang offer stunning coral reefs for more experienced divers and the chance of a manta rays or even a mola mola in the blue (mola from July through to October).
One of our top picks of places to visit is the small fishing town of Amed, located at the Eastern tip and far from the tourist madness of Kuta and the busier areas in the south of the island. Amed also offers impressive coral reefs and unique marine life for those who are keen to scuba dive or snorkel.
