Yuya Negishi Mural

According to the Northeaster (Vol.39, No 23), this former church turned rental property turned wrestling studio, condemned by the city, was rescued and rehabed into a private dwelling by it's current owner, Greg Clemente. Clemente commissioned Yuya Negishi, a Japanese native who now lives and teaches in South Minneapolis, to paint this wonderful mural covering the entire front of his home.

I know the artist, so when I randomly saw his name pop up on Google maps I had to click on it. I'm glad that his murals are considered tour

Just saw this yesterday! It's so eye catching. The colors work well in the space and it's just nice to look at. I really appreciate the skill of our local artists and randomly stumbling on things like this. Keep up the good work!
