I do not recommend this place to any tourist, save your time and money. One big disappointment. Garbage on the beach, garbage in the water, garbage at the bottom of the sea. No possibility to eat, have a drink. The locals should think. Otherwise, it would be nice if they tried to maintain it a little. I certainly can't complain about the tourists here, that they make a mess there too. They do it to themselves. We were probably the only tourists from Europe there after a very long time. Disappointed, we left after an hour.

Nice place, need to increase environmental hygiene and waste disposal management

This could be a wonderful location, but the incredible quantity of trash on the beach totally ruins it. I saw uncountable broken bottles and have no idea how I didn't cut up my feet on the sand. I also saw a used diaper floating in the water, as well as large quantities of plastic waste, snack wrappers etc. Thanks for ruining a totally stunning beach Indonesia. Stop being so stupid and use your brains.

Note: when I was there, the weather seemed nice but it followed by big waves. Main attraction of this place is its snorkeling business. But if you've gone to Belitung or Karimun Java, spoiler alert, you'll be disappointed! It tooks few minutes to get to the boat when the snorkeling location is right in front of our rest area. Me and my friends waited 1 hour for the wave to settle, long walk to another end of the island where 'Cat Cave' is, but nothing there was worth of an hour walk back and forth. The sea floor is full of sea urchin. But the worst, the worst was the trip back. The wave was crashing into our overloaded boat and all the passenger in the left were drenched from bottoms up. FOR 30 F*CKING MINUTES! Please, do yourself a favor by checking the weather and wind before going. And if you trully want to enjoy the coral, start saving and go to other place!
