Waecicu Beach
REVIEWS
Honestly I do not understand some of the reviews on here / the beach was super clean, I did not see a single bit of plastic. To me this place (and the bar) is close to paradise - a beautiful beach with lots of friendly local people - especially good on a weekend day, families chilling out, kids playing with the swings hanging from trees. The guy at the bar there is super friendly and gives good advice regarding where the best snorkeling is (behind the small island in front)

We spent 300k rupies to get there from town (probably been ripped off with that price) and it was meh. The entrance looks like a dodgy construction site where our cab couldn’t go down. It’s fine to take some cool looking pics, because the scenery is pretty but the water is full of trash and there are a lot of wrecked ships and boats on the shore and also a lot of debris. So the water is not inviting. There’s not much to do there, we only saw like 4 tourists sunbathing and some locals working on the broken boats but it felt empty and boring. There was a bar(?) but I wasn’t sure if it was open. We left after 10 minutes.

Public spot which quite clean and nice. Saw people brings their own lunch picnic style. There is one simple bar serves beer & snacks.

Very beautiful place with the nature and islands around. However the water is dirty from trash and the beach is being used as a ship breakyard by the locals. Interesting to see but not the nicest beach in Indonesia

Nice beach, but right next to it there is a graveyard of many ships and a dump with lots and lots of dirt! Hard to believe, but true!
