Get one of the local snorkelling trips from here! There will take you to the blue coral, the turtles and statues for a really really good price. Cost was about 35 GBP for 3 hours private tour, and was worth every penny ! were able to see half a dozen or so turtles

Superb snorkeling spot, crystal clear water with amazing of coral scenery. The water is so clam and warm, this place is one of the best snorkel spot in the Gilis. Especially, you will always have chance to swim with the turtle.

I believe the perfect time to snorkel in this area without harming the corals is in the morning. So the corals are deep enough to swim above, and there’s less UV exposure, so you won’t need to apply excessive sunscreen which is harmful to the corals. I saw a gentle baby turtle swimming nearby there. If you come across any floating plastics while snorkeling, please don’t hesitate to pick them up. Let’s all contribute to keeping this enchanting place sustainable for everyone 😉

Good place to step into the sea for snorkeling. Still remaing beatiful coral and able to see fish and turtle around though, most of coral are suffering, dying. Probably it shoud be only boat tour for further offshore location to conserve them from people stepping on them.

We came in early afternoon, rented fins and mask on the shore (average price 50k - 3€), and after 30-40m of rocky shallow water found numerous corals with tropical fishes, and while snorkeling around, we just bumped into turtles in two occasion.
