I was here December 2019 for kiting, it was end of the windseason but we could still enjoy some great kitesessions from this beautiful beach, it is the best spot on Lombok for our beloved sport. This year in April I came back and was shocked to see that the beach changed to a farm for sea weed that make this unique spot unusable for kiting

Why is the place called a hostel?! We were there and expected that we would at least be able to spend the night there and, at best, get equipment for kiting. Totally disappointed! There is trash everywhere! The beach is otherwise beautiful. But there are the common seaweed farms for kiting on a large area right in front of the beach. Even the streets shown on Google maps are only routes for motorcycles. Without my own equipment, a good driver and someone who knows the kite conditions there, I wouldn't go!

Beyond expectations, it turned out to be really good. It needs to be managed seriously by the provincial government.
