The beach is full of garbage. It's a shame, it could be a very nice place. We didn't try to snorkel since you could already see a from the beach a big wave of trash in the water.

Beautiful , though lots of garbage stuck in between all the corals. Locals could make money from collecting all the garbage near and on the beach , while there's still no tourists here.

The beach is actually very beautiful, except for all the rubbish... it's unbelievable, the rubbish keeps washing up over the sea. Disgusting...but swimming and snorkeling is nice

Here is one of the snorkeling spots that is still quite good. The location is next to Tanjungan Senggigi Beach, not far from Mataram City, so it is quite close to this location. The favorite times for snorkeling here are from 8 am to 11 pm. When it comes to sea water, it's best when it's not high tide or low tide. The most unfortunate thing about this location is that during the rainy season, or when it rains locally in hilly areas, where when it rains in the hills or at this location itself, rubbish often washes up to this location, so it really interferes with snorkeling activities, even though the reef here is quite well maintained. One more thing, it's also a bit disturbing if there are anglers here, I'm afraid that when we throw the hook, we are snorkeling where the hook registers. But the anglers themselves are disturbed if someone snorkels, so often it is the anglers who give in. So, this location is quite recommended for snorkeling.

Suitable when the water is calm after 10 o'clock (the current is quite strong depending on the full moon and wind). Beautiful coral and fish. I've seen turtles before, there aren't any fishing boats so I'm not too worried about getting hit.
