In 1982, the residents abandoned this beach due to abrasion, moving 3 km to the east. As time progressed, people began to abandon maritime activities which could no longer be relied on to support their kitchens, so they switched their livelihoods to home-based industries. So fishermen's livelihoods have been completely abandoned. Gradually, longing for the era of the 1980s and back really disturbed everyday comfort, so led by Purwoko officials, the New Segoro Bulak was realized which was to the east of the old Bulak. Hopefully the existence of Segoro Bulak Baru will inspire the attention of the Central and Regional governments to care about the existence of increasingly abrasive beaches to the east, since the 1982's this abrasion has swallowed up 300 meters of land.
