Its a cool temple. You have to wear a sarong before you can enter. Women on their menstruation is not allowed to enter. There are portions of the hike that is very steep and looks like the stairs are literally hanging on the side of the cliff. So if you have fear of heights maybe you should skip this one. Its about 15 minutes hike. There is a natural pool down there too. Locals say that you should not talk when passing the temple before you get to the pool to be respectful.

The tide pools are amazing, but the stairs down are madness!! There are shaky, rusty metal and wood stairs. Some of the steps are missing. Below the stairs is a 50 meter drop to the ocean and stones below. The beauty of the tide pools isn’t worth it. You’re risking your life with this climb.

amazing places i have ever been, the nature here is incredible. and if you survive the extremely steep blue stairs all the way to the bottom you are welcomed by a natural infinity pool with an ocean view. beware the stairs are very steep and the infinity pool is very slippery. take it slow and carefully! and dont forget to take ur “kamen” cus this sacred place.

Pretty exceptional place: combination of a little temple, water stream, but mainly the waves of the ocean crushing against the cliff! Beautiful spectacle! 😍 A bit challenging to go down as 1) lots of steep steps and 2) stairway can look abit daunting and some steps are not 100% stablr. Nevertheless, worth the effort! Entrance fee was 15k and 5k for parking - fair price to me.

This spot is so magical! All the steps you have to take to get down and that you have to take back up are worth the breathtaking view! It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience. At the entrance (before climbing down) you will need to buy a sarong for 15,000 rp. Bring good shoes and lots of water!
