Pura Paluang (Car Temple)

A small, local temple. Definitely wouldn't go out of my way to visit it. However if you're visiting Paluang Cliff anyway, you can walk 2 mins around the car park to reach it and visit. It's unstaffed and free to enter. Please remember to dress respectfully and follow usual expectations when visiting a temple.

A small but interesting temple is definitely worth a visit if you are on Nusa Penida Island.

Racist people, yesterday 14 of july there was an event and people told me I can't go because I don't have proper skirt, after some people gave me a skirt to enter and then i was told I can't because I didn't have a hat, when another man saw that I was able to get a hat I was told directly that simply I can't (no reasons why, simply I can't, all were just excuses), I still don't know why I couldn't and I still don't know what right had those random people to tell me that I couldn't go inside because they were just random people around. This was not a wedding or something private, it is like if i stay in my town in my country and i say to some foreginer that you can't go inside (I am not anyone with the right to say that). A religion must be opened to the people, people must show their religion to the world, and if people feel unconfortable having some foreginer inside when there is an event that is clearly racist.

The locals don't want visitors in this temple. We were a group of locals who wanted to visit this temple, but upon arrival at the parking lot the villagers stared at us without saying anything. When I said that we'd like to visit the temple they replied rudely that we were not allowed. No reason why, just unhappy locals not wanting visitors.
