Beautiful village, you can enter into the villagers houses and see how it looks on the inside. Each of the houses sells souvenirs such as sarongs and other items. They also sell snacks. You can see the beautiful gate at the village temple entrance but you cannot enter. Definitely a must visit in Bali if you want to experience the local culture. If you're lucky you might get a photo with one of the locals!

This is the pride of Balinese culture, most beautiful and iconic place to visit at all times. The important thing is you can enter in to all houses and take photos within them as your wish with your dress or rented traditional dresses, vide range, size and colours of traditional dresses available at all homes. Fantastic experience.

This village is so beautiful. Lots of conversation efforts placed into it. Some of the houses sell snacks and local products. We had our lunch in one of the houses which have a restaurant further inside the house. The fried fish was delicious. We did not have enough time to explore more places within the village. Perhaps setting at least 2-3 hours (excluding meal time) here may be better to discover more about this village.

A beautiful village that you must definitely visit on your trip to Bali. We got off the van and entered after paying for tickets. I think we paid around 50k for adults and less for the kids. There's a parking area right at the entrance. The place is very well kept and clean. You can buy traditional stuff from the houses. The old thatched houses are built out of bamboo, and wood. The newer houses of the residents can be found behind the traditional buildings. All house entrances have elaborately designed gates. Since we visited on a weekday it wasn't that busy. You can book tickets online through the official site.

Penglipuran Village (Desa Wisata Penglipuran) 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Penglipuran Village is a captivating glimpse into Bali's rich traditions and history! 🏘️✨ This old, traditional village is not only beautiful but also incredibly well-preserved, offering a unique experience of Balinese culture and architecture. The neatly arranged homes, charming pathways, and the bamboo forest nearby create a picturesque setting that feels like stepping back in time. 🎍🏑 The bamboo forest, in particular, is a highlight – serene and enchanting, it’s a wonderful place to explore and take photos. However, it’s worth noting that the village can get quite crowded with tourists, especially during peak hours. πŸ‘«πŸ“Έ Despite this, the experience is still highly enjoyable, and the warmth of the local community makes it even better. 😊 πŸ“Location: Easy to reach, located in Bangli Regency. πŸ’΅ Entry Fee: Reasonable, and it supports the upkeep of this cultural treasure. Pro Tip: Visit early in the morning or later in the afternoon to avoid the crowds and enjoy a more peaceful experience. Penglipuran Village is a must-visit for anyone interested in Bali’s heritage. Highly recommended for its cultural value and natural beauty! 🌴🌟
