This place brings back unforgettable memory. Turtles occasionally lay eggs here at night, which is a once in a lifetime experience for a tourist. During nighttime at the beach, please do not turn on flash or any source of light since the light pollution would disturb the turtles. Beware of the monkeys at the camping ground, they usually steal your logistics including food supplies in groups. Also, do bring a mosquito repellent lotion since there’s a lot of mosquitos here.

The beach is not as beautiful as its neighbor Hiajau Bay, but without the noise of tourists. if you are just looking for a beach to be photographed and swimming, Sukamade Beach is not the right choice. Sukamade Beach offers an unforgettable rainforest experience, adventure, and lessons about the life of a fantastic Turtle. If you start from Rajegwesi Beach or from the Green Bay, there are several ways to visit this beach. 1. Round Trip Trekking. If you are a true adventurer who is tireless, of course this is the most appropriate option. You will walk about 10-12 km to the beach and of course you will be welcomed by the cool and lush forests of the national park. this road is gravel, because it is the only passage for the national park operational trucks. 2 .. Trekking Walking followed by a truck. If you are a true adventurer who knows enough about fatigue, this method is perfect. With this method, you will feel the natural beauty of the tropical rainforest of Meru Betiri National Park. after about 6-8 km, you will find a guard post. if you are tired, ask the guard to help you rent a truck to continue the journey off road. the rental price will be much cheaper if you are with a group of 10-15 people. truck rental prices. truck rental prices are calculated flat 500 thousand Rupiah for Rajegwesi-Sukamade PP, even if you rent in the middle of a trip. start the track after lunch for this method. because trucks are usually only there in the afternoon. 3. Truck the price remains the same, which is 500 thousand Rupiah for Rajegwesi-Sukamade PP, and you will be escorted by boarding the truck 4. Jeep this is the most luxurious method. unfortunately I have not had time to try this method, but according to a source I once asked, 700 thousand Rupiah is charged for Rajegwesi-Sukamade PP, with more limited passengers (compared to trucks). and remember, there is no choice but to stay. Contact the National Park Hall by telephone to ask Sukamade Guest House for room availability. or bring a tent for a more enjoyable experience! At the Turtle Conservation Center, you will find the only canteen that meets all your stomach needs. and they also sell beer at affordable prices. activities that you can do here include Monitoring sea turtle landing (see turtles laying eggs) time: 20.00 to 01.00 WIB location: turtle nesting place (Sukamade beach) - See semi-natural turtle hatcheries time: 07.00 - 09.00 WIB and 15.00 - 17.00 WIB location: semi-natural turtle hatcheries - Release of hatchlings time: morning at 06.00 - 07.00 WIB location: Sukamade beach

Sokamadi is protected by its own coastline for the breeding of green orchards. A protection center for the life of this type of turtle has been allocated and the sites of laying eggs are hatched until hatching and then young turtles are released to return to live in safe beaches
