The beach is nice with clear water but relatively small and there is a lot of rubbish. The worst part is the road you have to drive and that some locals rip you off by taking 10k for entering the beach.

The view is amazing, awesome, and stunning. Perfect spot to take photo. However, the access to the location is hard, the road is heavily damaged and almost impossible for cars to get in. I use a motorbike to get there.

Beautiful beach. The water is turquoise and there is a part shaded by trees. BUT: 1) do not swim at low tide, the rocks come very close to the surface and are very sharp. We ended up in the emergencies getting stitches from a bad cut. 2) the last 3 km are a bad dirtroad, full of holes and big rocks. They’ll make you pay 10 000 IDR for access, I don’t know where the money goes but surely not in the road. And of course, there is a lot of trash among the nice shells on the beach, but that’s how it is everywhere here.

This waste situation is ruining such a beautiful place as Lombok. Waste everywhere!! If you talk with the locals, they will always say that it comes with the sea, but many people throw waste everywhere, including the business owners in the beach, like you can see here. No wonder the ocean is so polluted. Not to mention when they burn everything mixed, releasing toxic fumes even to small kids around. So sad... western companies should also be blaimed for selling and bringing packaged products and packaging technology for countries without waste management practices.

When you get past the rough rock strewn stretch of track, it splits into two with the left branch leading to semeti beach which is a small secluded area. Note: On the surface everything looks fine, until you see the usual plastic which is synonymous with lombok unfortunately...
