I think this beach has a panoramic view of the hills and a small island (Pulau Timang), which is great for photography, relaxing, or camping (highly recommended). Swimming isn't recommended because of the rocky bottom. Management needs to improve the cleanliness, shopping options, and road access. There are no stalls nearby, and it's far from any place to buy fuel. The road is passable but very rough, with fist-sized rocks that are tough on tires and shocks for about 500 meters. I wouldn't recommend taking a motorbike unless it's an adventure or off-road type. The road also has steep inclines and declines, making it risky. The existing shelters and bathrooms need more attention. There's a ticket booth (5,000 IDR per person), but it's closed on weekdays, so it seems this beach is only busy seasonally. Internet access is difficult or non-existent. If you're driving (max 2 wheels), make sure you have enough fuel for a 30km+ trip. I don't recommend cars or larger vehicles because the road is so rough and narrow. You could walk about 2km and park at the ticket booth or a residential area, but it's best to check with locals first.

I thought it was a very nice place, but the road is extremely damaged. I wouldn't recommend driving anything other than a jeep. Many locals offer jeep rentals to get there. Negotiate a fair price and consider supporting the local community.

This beach is located near Timang Island. Access is from the Timang Island motorbike parking lot, then down the hill. The entrance ticket (5,000 IDR) is the same as for Timang Beach.

I found it to be a beautiful beach for snorkeling, with clear water and lots of fish. Equipment rentals are affordable, and the guides are friendly.

Besides the beautiful scenery, this beach is rich in fish, which is great for fishermen. But like other fishing spots in Gunungkidul, be prepared for your line to get caught on the coastal rocks.

Pantai Pasiran sounds like a beautiful and secluded beach. I'm interested in the snorkeling and the views, but the road conditions seem challenging.

I'm looking for an off-the-beaten-path beach, and Pantai Pasiran seems perfect! I'll definitely consider renting a jeep from the locals.

It's good to know about the lack of facilities and internet access. I'll make sure to bring everything I need.
