Pantai Ngedan

So refreshing!!! Having tight weekday schedule and wanna have some brain vitamin? Go to this place… This beach offers you a quite place with amazing scenery. The ocean view is unlimited. You can play white sand in the beach under the cliff. Or just stay in the top of the cliff enjoying the breeze… This beach has a complete facility for us to take a bath or just eat something like hot noodle. Must visited beach in Yogyakarta tho!

Came on a Sunday, October 2020. The beach is not wide, yet not crowded. The waves were pretty big even tho it was not a "full moon" period. But people can still enjoy calm waves and sea water on the edge of the beach. I would say the beach is 80% clean. There were still garbages of drink bottles here and there, not that many tho, but from a far, the beach looks pretty and nice. Parking lots for motorcycle has roofs, you can also park you cars. It's not small. My friends said the toilets were pretty clean. Some can say Ngeden/Ngedan Beach was like a private beach. Probably because the road is not that smooth. You have to drive carefully, like really careful. Only one car can fit the road. I can't even imagine how can one car get aside of the road to let another can from the other side pass by.... I was glad I rode my motorcycle there (still need to be very careful tho).

Still far from the civilization in 2021, which makes it a really beautiful hidden gem. Unfortunately, the fast urbanization of the area might change all that very soon :( Big waves, not suited for swimming for most people.

If you are willing to travel off the common road, and head offroad a little, you will discover this beautiful secluded beach. The road here is quite treacherous, but worth the adventure. Not recommended for small cars.

Nice place for camping. The scenery looks pretty on sunset. Not many people comes here, thats why is beautiful and not much garbage. Its hard to find there by car. And its far away from the .ain road
