Pantai Ngandong
REVIEWS
Pantai Ngandong is very nice and beautiful. It has short beaches separated by cliffs. The beaches are protected by a coral reef, where most of the waves break. There are many different seashells and coral to see.

Pantai Ngandong has bright sand and is easy for small kids. Parking is right by the beach for Rp 10,000. The restaurants don't have interesting food, only instant meals. But they usually have fresh coconut water. There are shower and toilet facilities for around Rp 5,000. Some are dark and dirty, some are really clean with daylight. When the tide is high, it's possible to swim upfront. When the water goes down in the afternoon, it leaves a pool easy to roam for small non-swimming kids. Don't leave the kids unattended, there might be bigger waves that come in unexpectedly. In the afternoon, you can walk on the coral/stones "platform" that shows up with bright green seaweed to reach the big rock. Very "Instagrammable" It's not too crowded, even on holidays.

Pantai Ngandong is a very beautiful beach. The road to the beach was not smooth, but it was worth it once you reached the beach. The beach is slightly sloping, and the tide is high in the morning, so if you bring children, better watch them closely. They also rent a place to sit for Rp 30,000. There are a lot of places to eat and a bathroom to have a shower.

Visited over weekday and was a good day to enjoy the beach and its beauty. Will never come over public holiday!! Facilities are acceptable. I'm not confidence in buying any fritters sold there. The 500m beach entrance road needs to be re-made.
