Carocok Beach is located at Painan Regency, Southern West Sumatra. This beach is colourful with a great landscape. A big mosque is available at the beach, so called, masjid tarandam (saturated mosque).

Carocok beach is just 2 km from the center of Painan, and 80km from Padang. The beach is always crowded by tourists, usually on weekend or holidays. Access to the beach is very easy and convenient. Especially after the Pesisir Selatan district government completes supporting facilities for the comfort of tourists. Some culinary shop built there. There are also toilets are quite clean, not far from the beach. Carocok beach also has some attractions that can be visited by tourists. Just a few meters from the beach, there is a cluster of coral islands connected by a bridge to the tip of Bukit Langkisau. The hill is also a famous tourist attraction in Painan. A wooded cluster of coral is called Batu Kereta Island. To reach the island, travelers need not cross oceans. The local government has built bridges linking several attractions in Coastal Carocok. No need to fear suffering because some shelters have also been built. Staying walk, we will arrive at the Batu Kereta Island.

A very popular vacation destination among the local, located about 90km south of Padang city. A lot of spot that instagramable. Beautiful place. And we can go up to Bukit Langkisau to see the surrounding from the top of the hill. Recommended place to visit although it is bit far from the city.
