Pantai Berawa is beautiful! Lots of people were surfing, and the beach was very clean. I recommend bringing a swimsuit. You can rent a surfboard and find a coach there. Sun loungers are available for rent (100,000 IDR each). There are many surfing schools nearby. Unfortunately, they don't sell swimsuits on the beach, which was a problem for us since we forgot ours, so we could only watch.

Beach is quite nice and the sunset is beautiful, drink prices are ok, if you stay at one of the places there. In the background you can always enjoy the music of the clubs in the background.

Wide beach just infront of temple. Sadly, it was not clean. Saw some plastic trashes around. Waves are not swimming friendly, more for surfing. Surrounded by massive beach clubs. Easy parking, but the secure payment gate didn't work, unknown local suddenly appeared to ask money.
