Really unpleasant experience, surf mafia harass you as you arrive, said it was idr200 000 for a boat for 2 hours , can't find people to share it with as thats "not how it works" and basically got told i would "Get ridden over by a boat" if I attenpted to paddle out which was a threat. Very surf Mafia vibe, would not recommend going here. Did not look for other boat options with other people who wernt apart of the surf Mafia as your arrive so I'm sure you could work something out for cheaper but the whole experience really wasn't good, will chase away tourists if it continues, the rest of lombok has amazing waves and is not like this! Go elsewhere

Excellent right hander, not too intimidating if you come by yourself or come with a boat. Got some good waves, less crowded than inside too.

Go here and have a good time! Very welcoming people. Paddle out without a boat and the locals are very nice. The other negative reviews are out of date.

I got turned around from surfing here because I paddled out and didn’t get a boat. This is so corrupt! Do not get the boat from the guys in the corner as you enter the town. Threatened me and demanded I could surf without a boat !
