Great little hiking spot! There wasn’t many people when we came. Plenty of parking and a porta potty. There’s a bridge above with locks that people have left which is cool. The Ruins unfortunately has been tarnished by graffiti and trash but it’s still a beautiful area. Steep and slippery at times.

Fun exploring the area. Sadly there was a bunch of trash and SO much graffiti. My daughter said it looked like people party there with all the beer cans and alcohol bottles laying everywhere. There's not really signs along the way. If you park by the vermilion falls lot, walk along the river, across the bridge, and then back down towards the river. It was steep and slippery getting down to the ruins the day we were visiting. Plenty of parking, even on a busy Sunday. There's one porta potty in the parking lot by the falls.

Not much to see. The paved trail down there is kind of nice and it looked like there were other trails to explore, but the ruins themselves weren't much of a point of interest

Nice place to do some exploration and take photos. Yes there is quite a bit of graffiti, but that (maybe arguable) adds to the experience. Bring your camera and your hiking shoes, and do some exploration in the area. You won't be disappointed. Later you can just take a walk to the falls, which are pretty close.

This is part of the Vermilion Park trail system and definitely an easy hike and highly recommend making this a stop even if you're just cutting through town on a road trip. Perfect place to explore and see the waterfalls
