Megada Beach

A great view with some great little banana lounges by a dark sand beach and some hectic waves in March! More of a surfers beach for sure, but we still had a dip in the wavy water and had a great time by the beachside cafes.

Really nice surf spot for intermediate/pro. A little bit crowded but still not to many people on one wave 🏄🏼‍♀️🥰

We enjoyed lounging and watching the activity on the beach as the sun set. Lots of dogs around (beach dogs and pets) which we loved, but can imagine others would not. Plenty of little bars to order food and drink, as well as street corn vendors (20k rupiah). If you are a clean freak, you might be anxious about rubbish and cockroaches around although staff work hard to manage it!

Well, you don’t have so many beach options in Canggu. Here you have a lot of nice restaurants with vegetarian options, good Indonesian food. You can watch the sunset here. There is a lot of sun beds from different restaurants. Also a beach where you can surf as a beginner but also as a advanced surfer. The beach to me looks clean, not to much plastic. I’m not sure about the water quality
