Kubu Beach

Truly amazing spot We come across in Jimbaran Bali,Kubu Beach was our favourite spot to relax we did stay at AYANA Resort so we had unlimited access to KUBU as it’s a private Beach closed to public We took the Gondola down the 100 ft cliff face with a view to die for,There are stairs there if your young and fit & not bloated and shiny 😂 go right at the bottom there is a little Hut there to drink a few cocktails and some day beds 🛖 overlooking the turquoise blue and white pebble Kubu beach & Indian Ocean. Go left around to the beach club with an Kubu Beach Jimbaran Bali is amazing Beach to swim and day beds to enjoy the day. There is another way in to Kubu along the creek that leads into the beach on the other side as AYANA resort will block anyone trying to go to Kubu beach. The photos don’t do it justice. It’s 50x better in reality.

Kubu Beach is located within the Ayana resort and is exclusively for hotel guests. The beach access is on the southern edge of the resort and can be reached either by walking or using the resort shuttle. The actual beach can be reached via an elevator where your room number is also checked. The beach offers a breathtaking view with a bright beach and turquoise blue water. The exclusivity of the beach makes it perfect for relaxing. There are free loungers, a freshwater shower and a bathroom. You can also order drinks, small snacks or have a massage. The beach is very clean and consists of fine sand, while there are also larger stones in the water. The waves are quite strong depending on the tide. There are lifeguards on site.

Kubu Beach in Jimbaran is a charming little spot, perfect for those looking for a quieter beach experience. Accessing the beach via the lift from the Kubu Beach stop (on the Ayana resort buggy route) was a fun and unique touch. The beach itself is small with limited facilities, but there’s a cozy beach bar/club where you can grab a drink and relax. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great when we visited, so the waves were a bit too strong for swimming, but it was still nice to take in the views and the peaceful vibe. If you’re staying at Ayana and looking for a change of scenery, it’s worth a visit, but keep in mind it’s more about relaxing than activities.

Here's The Concise Deal™: - Kubu Beach is within the AYANA resort. Access is in theory for guests only, who are asked for their room number, e.g. 2124, before boarding an elevator. There are also stairs down. - Since it's somewhat private, the beach is very clean, and not crowded. - The water is not good for swimming due to a rocky bottom, big rocks, and strong-ish waves. It's a pretty crappy beach in that regard. - There are free sun beds, umbrellas and towels for AYANA guests. - There's a small restaurant with excellent food (try the pork satay) and refreshing drinks. See the photos for pricing. - The staff was VERY nice! Helped us set up the umbrella, brought drinks, and was super attentive. Special thanks to Awan! - There are massage and hair braiding services as well. - Sunset on the beach could be nice, but Rock Bar or Luna rooftop offer a higher vantage point.
