Keramas Beach
REVIEWS
I thought the surf was amazing, and there were good shacks for refreshments and showering. On a good day, the waves can be 10 feet or higher. The reef is shallow at low tide. The waves are intermediate to advanced level and sometimes super fast. There is also a spa at the entry to the beach. Even if you don't surf, watching these waves is worth the trip.

I think Keramas Beach in Bali is a hidden gem, ideal for surfers, nature lovers, and anyone looking to escape the crowds. Famous for its consistent and powerful waves, it’s a prime destination for surfers seeking an exciting challenge. The black sand and rugged coastline create a striking setting, adding to the beach’s charm. Beyond surfing, Keramas Beach offers a peaceful atmosphere for a leisurely walk along the shore. The open, unspoiled scenery provides a sense of calm, making it perfect for relaxation. Nature enthusiasts will also enjoy watching ducks and other birds near the nearby rice paddies and streams, adding to the tranquil vibe. Unlike Bali’s busier beaches, Keramas remains relatively quiet, giving visitors plenty of space to enjoy its beauty. Whether you’re hitting the waves, birdwatching, or simply taking in the fresh ocean air, Keramas Beach delivers a unique and refreshing experience. It’s a must-visit for surfers and anyone looking to enjoy Bali’s natural side.

I thought it was some kind of dump. We came to look at a beautiful beach but ended up in a trash bin with tons of plastic lying around. No one cleans up; locals throw their garbage here.

It's concerning to read about the trash problem at Keramas Beach. I hope the local authorities take action to clean up the beach and protect its natural beauty.
