One of the 17 beaches, it's a place I visited 6 or 7 years ago. Time flies, and it is now a lot more developed with many shops, restaurants, mostly for locals. Many buses deliver their cargo of local tourists. The beach is nice. Is it clean? Relatively. The area has been cordoned off, to allow kayaking and swimming. Past the flags, weaves are quite big, and there are strong under currents that can probably be dangerous. It will probably never become like Bali, but if the infrastructure is well taken care of, then it can be a very pleasant destination, at least for the day.

Not very good spot to swim in my opinion. Be prepared that any swimsuit which is uncovering your body can rise some attention, it is not a place with a lot of tourists so be respectful for the religion and the fact that people are not used to being in bikini. It’s nice place to chill and kayaking, spend some time in the water.
