Coral Garden (snorkeling)
REVIEWS
Sunrise snorkelling off the beach this morning. Crystal clear water, thousands and thousands of fish, local fishing boats cruising in the distance and had the place to ourselves! Stunning!

When entering the sand it was hard to find a spot just to lay your stuff and put a towel down, enjoy nature, without being pushed or harassed to buy something. Two men vendors approached us to sell us spots on the benches, to which we said no thank you. We found some shade next to other tourists, thankfully, so we set our stuff. We just wanted to swim for a short time and we were very curious to see if we saw turtles or something. I swam and did see some corals and fish, saying the corals were vividly colorful would be a lie. I felt pretty gross because there was a lot of trash. It was like swimming in a trash soup. I would think someone was touching me but it was a cup, then a trash bag, etc. My expectations of Amed's natural conservation were so off. I truly believed Amed was a natural gem. Now, I'm not so sure.

Stunning variety and well preserved coral and plenty of fish. No rubbish, no boats anchoring, active coral farming, all good to see.

Just beautiful, a must do I advise you to take an excursion early to avoid the masses of tourists who arrive around 9:30 a.m.
