All the reviews, tour guides, locals seem to have a different story for getting to this waterfall. Saying you need a guide, a motorbike, you might get lost in the jungle, it’s a long hike. None of these things are true. Here is my experience on hiking it (as a 40yo, 200lb woman of low/medium athleticism) After you park the car it is a 10 minute walk up a paved path through what I will call the instagram picture village. You will get to a dirt hiking trail and it splits- take the unpaved trail to the right even though instinct tells you to take the paved path to the left. You follow the creek/water pipes most of the way. It is a very clear path, if you have the slightest amount of hiking experience you will not go the wrong way. If you can follow the signs with arrows that say Coban rais you will not go the wrong way. There is one small creek crossing and when I went you could hop along stones and not take your shoes off. Once on the dirt path it took me 35 minutes to get to the waterfall. I would call this an easy hike. I broke a sweat but didn’t drink my whole water bottle. Hope this helps others while are debating whether or not to do it. You should do it. There is no way that was 3km like I read in a few reviews.

The waterfall is beautiful, so is the other spots. If they fix the track towards the waterfall, I might add another star for this place. The other attractions such as photo spots, hobbit house, kids playground and the path towards these spots were good plus there's a lot of motorbike taxi that you can use to take you to those spots (except the waterfall). If you want to go to the waterfall, you have to walk on trail that is quite challenging for those who's not used to walk in trail. Not suitable for children as some part of the trail were quite narrow, steep, slippery, and no handrails for safety. Make sure to wear proper shoes (hiking boots) or mountain sandals as you have to cross the river multiple times

This is very bad, because everything have to pay and i think it is too expensive and not worth at all, the area place have been decorated and arranged for photo spot but is look not nice, bad actually, and have to pay each spot, oh my God, we even cannot go to the waterfall because the road is closed no sign or info about the closure at the entrance gate so we feel being getting trapped. motorcycle or ojek local is running wild between people walk is not nice at all, if you want to book one is too expensive for just close distance, so we decided to turn back and will never ever ever coming back again ever, so disappointing.
