Cangkring Beach is part of the Parangtritis coastline and only about an hour from Yogyakarta. It's clean and shady with lots of trees, and it's not too crowded. The facilities are good too, with toilets, prayer rooms, parking, gazebos, swings, and some small food stalls. I think adding photo spots, activities like surfing or ATV rentals, and more seafood restaurants would make it even better.

Cangkring Beach is a newer spot in the Samas Beach area. It's cozy because of all the pine trees. There are restrooms and a prayer room (though I didn't use them). It's clean enough, but I wouldn't say it's spotless. There are some small food and drink stalls, and there are also some cats! ❤

New place in the samas beach area, the place is a bit cozy due to many pine trees. There's restroom and prayer room (but I didn't try them). Clean enough but I can't say it's dirty. There are some small stalks that sells food and beverages. Also there are some cats ❤

Arround 40-50 minutes from the core city of Yogya, the place so good for sunset... The ticket only Rp.3.000 or 0.20$ So recommend!

South Beach so big wave. Lots of food vendor. Bapak parkiran really helpful. Cheap facility (toilet 2k, parking 5k). Relatively clean.

Great view, especially sunset but little bit dirty. Parking fee for each beach may to much, since we already pay for the entry.

Cangkring Beach is a nice, quiet alternative to the more crowded beaches in the area. I enjoyed relaxing under the trees and taking a walk along the shore.
