Itβs truly a stunning spot where many locals are coming for their purification ceremony by a number of fountains from a natural spring in a cliff of a deep River valley that falls into a magnificent infinity pool. The scenery over the gorge and the river are truly breathtaking with dense rain forest where you are quit often encounters many macaques Monkey. A steep steps down into the Penet River where you can go for a lovely swim to cool off in a hot day and enjoying the serenity of the forest on both side of the river. If you wish to have a water purification here, you can purchase a small offering by the little local shop at the parking area. Entrance fees are just a little donation on your kind.

Melukat on 5th January 2020. OM Swastyastu, Namaste π Let me sharing and also review this place based on what I see, what I feel and what point you should alert before come to this Melukat place. Parking Area : Quite large for car and motorcycle. Ticket Entrace / Parkir : Based on Donation. based on your generosity and without coercion Donation will use to keep cleanliness and improvement of this place. From Parkir Area to Venue : 4 minutes 15 second normal walk. Good access and safety. (when I came in rainy seasons and I think its raining before arrived, the stairs is quite slippery but its still normal and not dangerous, please use comfort sandal / shoes dont use flat one) Note : No toilet there, please make sure if you want to have pee / poπ€p do in petrol nearby or local house that provide toilet with donation / retribution like IDR 1.000 - IDR 2.000. Hope they will provide it soon since its quite far from melukat point to parkir area. they didnt have locker like others melukat place, but they have place for keep your belonging, and they have change room (only 2 rooms but clean, no worry ya) and they have tarp in it to make sure your belonging not get wet by rain. No worries or afraid about your belonging, since we believe in karma but we need coorporation to make this place safe and comfort ππ I never find Melukat place like pool in the resorts, that's why I love this place so much. This review is the 2nd review after I came alone, and second time with my friends. Better you come with local friends who can make you in the right route and take some picture also since the view is really beautiful. Not only the view but the vibes. Can't describe! π₯° there are lot's melukat points, for me in the age of 23 years old, 45 minutes is enough for me to do all melukat steps here, the duration is depend on the person, just make sure you ask the priest / holy men (Pemangku, please dont translate it you will confused because in indonesia that will be another meaning) about the steps, I think they can speak little bit english, better you have guide to go there. After i count, you will need around 5 - 7 canang for 1 person. Just make sure you bring it before arrived in venue. Hope you will get blessed by Melukat Rituals π Love and OM Shanti π

Had an unforgettable experience of the real Balinese purification ceremony in this sacred waterfall! You can feel the power of mother nature here. Pure and powerful! My Balinese friend recommended this place because of the local guide service here. So I came alone..luckily I met a very good guide who can lead you through the whole experience and explain everything to you need to know about the ceremony for better understanding, most importantly he does it from the heart π€ I would like to support him, and this what I can do :) If you are looking for a great guide for the waterfall purification in Ubud, Bali, you can contact him via WhatsApp no. +62 878 70372300 , his name is Made (ma-dee) I wish all the best for him ππΌ
