Be prepared for hostile landing when you step foot on the beach. Loads of hustlers ready to harass and take your money. We needed a bike to rent and were first offered rental at 150k a day! Managed to haggle it down to 70k. A group of men targeted us from the get go and credit to their persistence, they got our money. It wasn’t an enjoyable experience by all means but I don’t think you’ve got much of an alternative if you want to rent a bike having just come to Lombok from the Gilis. P.s. don’t expect a nice bike! 🫣

It’s a hostile place filled with aggressive scam artists. Lombok is amazing, yet bangsal beach is the opposite. Avoid if you can.
