Baluran National Park

Whether you’re a professional photographer or just someone who loves capturing nature’s beauty, this park provides ample opportunities to snap some breathtaking shots. However, my experience was a bit underwhelming when it came to wildlife sightings. On the day I visited, there weren’t many animals to see. Despite driving through the park and exploring various spots, the wildlife was sparse. I had hoped to encounter the diverse fauna that Baluran is known for, such as deer, buffaloes, and even the elusive leopards, but luck wasn’t on my side. That said, the park’s natural beauty still made the trip worthwhile.

No wonder they name it after Africa Van Java. This place got me amazed with the view, animals - everything! You better come in the morning or afternoon around 3.30 pm, the animals will be around for drinks. Dont forget to stay away from the monkey!
