Angel's Billabong
REVIEWS
When we visited Angels Billabong in Nusa Penida, it was both breathtaking and intense. The natural infinity pool looked absolutely stunning, but the waves were rough that day. The crystal-clear water of the lagoon and the vibrant colors of the rocks beneath were mesmerizing. But the waves crashing into the edges made it a bit nerve-wracking. The rugged path leading to Angels Billabong wasn’t the easiest, and the bumpy ride added to the adventure. Once we arrived, though, the stunning view made us forget all about the journey.

Amazing place. The water and view is spectacular. There is parking fee. Expect a lot of crowd however it is worth visiting when you are in Penida island. Please be extra cautious when you go near to the edge of that cliff. The waves are strong that can drive you away. Please don't act anything stupid just for a photo.

Beautiful places with relatively easy walking paths to get views. Many options to buy food/snacks along the way. We did this visit in about 1h total. 10K entrance fee per car. We were also able to see some manta rays at a distance.

It is a stunning natural infinity pool that captivates with its crystal-clear waters and breathtaking views. Nestled between rugged cliffs, this tidal pool offers a unique experience of swimming in pristine, turquoise waters that flow directly into the ocean. The rock formations create a serene, tranquil atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for photography and relaxation. The vibrant hues of the water, especially during low tide, are mesmerizing. However, visitors must exercise caution as the area can be dangerous during high tide when strong waves can crash into the pool. It’s best to visit early in the day to avoid crowds and to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The journey to Angel's Billabong can be a bit challenging due to the rocky terrain, but the destination is well worth the effort. For those seeking a blend of adventure and natural beauty, Angel's Billabong is a must-visit gem in Bali. **Pros:** - Stunning views and crystal-clear water - Great photo opportunities - A unique natural pool experience **Cons:** - Can be dangerous during high tide - The area can get crowded - Rocky path requires some physical effort to reach Overall, Angel’s Billabong is a remarkable spot that highlights the raw beauty of Nusa Penida, and it’s a must-visit for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.
